ABSTRACT
Built at the beginning of the 18th century, the palace in Drogoszy was one of the three largest residences in East Prussia. Its owners were representatives of the Dönhoff family, then representatives of the Silesian line of the Stolberg-Wernigerode family, who administered it until 1945. Over the centuries, successive owners amassed a valuable collection of works of art, paintings, furniture and porcelain in the palace. The estate also included a library of nearly 10,000 volumes. A manuscript catalogue of this book collection is currently stored in the State Archive in Olsztyn. It is an example of one of the few surviving records of Prussian manorial collections. The aim of this article is an analysis covering the volumes inventoried therein in terms of content and the dates and places of publication. The division of the book collection into individual categories is also addressed. The bibliophilic interests of the palace's inhabitants are shown.
