In 2011, the Pomezanian-Baltic Mission carried out archaeological research at the cathedral hill in Frombork. The excavations provided information on the foundations of the cathedral, confirming the majority of previous findings. During the excavations, burials were also found and numerous portable objects were recovered,
mainly from the modern period.
